Hoosiers Working for Religious Freedom

Act justly, love mercy, walk humbly (Micah 6:8)

Vision

An Indiana in which there are no second-class faiths, and in which the Hoosier Christian community speaks in one voice to condemn Christian nationalism as a distortion of the gospel of Jesus and a threat to democracy.

Mission

To nurture the Hoosier community of Christians who oppose Christian nationalism, Religious Freedom Indiana builds fellowship, scholarship, and championship in our common, peaceful purpose to:

  • Create a safe space for those who are concerned about Christian Nationalism and want to learn more about its origins and impact
  • Speak out against Christian Nationalism
  • Reverse Christian Nationalism's toxic influence in politics, policy, church teaching, and the spiritual health of our brothers and sisters in Christ

Our Membership Goal

Our goal is to connect with 100,000 Hoosiers (approx. 3.4% of Indiana voters in the 2024 presidential election) dedicated to protecting true religious freedom. Here's our progress:
